About My Training
My private sessions take place indoors at the doggy daycare facility after hours, specifically at 5:30pm. This allows for a controlled and comfortable environment where we can focus on the training without distractions.
During these sessions, I emphasize the importance of establishing a healthy leadership role with your dog. I believe that effective training begins with you assuming the role of a confident and respected leader. By establishing this leadership dynamic, you can guide your dog towards desired behaviors and foster a harmonious relationship built on trust and respect.
With my 10+ years of experience and the help of my dog Cody, we can get you the results you’re looking for.
To support this approach, I primarily utilize slip leads as a gentle and effective tool to teach basic obedience, manners, and behavior modification. This allows for clear communication between you and your dog, promoting a deeper understanding and cooperation.
Additionally, if needed or desired, I can incorporate advanced training techniques using an e-collar to reinforce what has been taught with the slip lead. However, the utilization of an e-collar is always done responsibly and with utmost care to ensure your dog's safety and comfort.
In addition to my training techniques, I have also developed custom training tools that improve upon what already exists in the dog training world. These tools are designed to provide greater convenience and precision in the training process. By utilizing these customized tools, we can enhance your training experience and achieve even better results with your dog.
Each private hour long session is priced at $50, ensuring that you receive dedicated attention and a tailored training experience for you and your dog.

Slip Lead Placement
Flat collars and harnesses, commonly used for walking and controlling dogs, have the potential to cause harm to their delicate trachea and larynx. These vital structures are located at the base of a dog's neck, where there is less muscle and protection, making them more susceptible to injury when pressure is applied. Slip leads offer a safer alternative as they are placed higher on the neck, taking advantage of the stronger musculature found in the upper region. Using the built in stopper to securely position the lead behind the dog’s ears you will reduce the risk of damage to the trachea and larynx, ensuring the well-being and safety of our furry companions during walks or training sessions.
NOTE: Improper placement of the slip lead can result in damage to the dog’s trachea or larynx. The lead must be placed high on the neck and tight enough to not slide down.

Slip leads are hand made and sold at the shop for $24.99.
Leads are 5 feet in length and 8mm thick.
Custom lengths are available at request.
A smaller width can also be made at request for small dogs.
Each lead is tested to withstand 400lbs of pulling force.
Rope used is made 100% from recycled RPET bottles.
This rope has a very premium feel and virtually no stretch.
Stopper is made from repurposed spent shell casings.
Colors available: Navy Blue, Coral Red, Black.
